With the right amount of force, a Red Vine licorice WILL, in fact, leave a red welt on a person's thigh for about a day and a half.

Storm Watch 2006

So the storm hit and it was pretty harsh. Here is a picture that illustrates the excessive damage caused to a home nearby. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take life for granted!!!

A New Religion

I was surfing around, as I am want to do, when I came across this article by Lore Sjöberg (of the now defunct Brunching Shuttlecocks). I found it most humorous and enlightening.

I was watching Saving Private Ryan yesterday when I noticed for the first time that Nathan Fillion is in the movie as Private James F. Ryan from Minnesota.

Two Firefly references in two days? Coinky-dink? A blot in the Matrix? I think not. I say that Firefly works in mysterious ways. We shouldn't question The Divine Plan!
